A native of Southern California, Sharon Lee actively performs as a collaborative pianist, vocal accompanist, and piano instructor. She completed her Bachelor's degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Master's of Music degree from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Claremont Graduate University. Some of her distinguished musical accolades include the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Scholarship, the Clarice Chaplin Music Scholarship, the Robert Chassman Memorial Scholarship, and a full scholarship for the fellowship program at the Atlantic Music Festival. Sharon was a 1st prize winner of the Mu Phi Eplison Piano Competition and Berkeley Piano Competition, finalist of the Sturm Page Piano Competition and VSCA International Young Artists competition. Sharon's students prepare for the annual SYMF competitions and Certificate of Merit programs. She also judges for the SYMF annually.
