Michael Krikorian is a Los Angeles based pianist, composer, and teacher. He has extensive solo, chamber, and orchestral performing experience and has won prizes in numerous competitions which include first place in the Susan Torres Award Competition, first place in the Mu Phi Epsilon Scholarship Competition, first place in the Youth Performance Awards Competition of the Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts, and first place in the MTAC Fresno Branch Solo Piano Competition. Michael earned his B.A. in piano performance from CSU Fresno studying with Andreas Werz, his M.M. from Manhattan School of Music studying with Arkady Aronov, and is currently pursuing a DMA at USC in the studio of Antoinette Perry. In addition to his private teaching, Michael teaches class piano and individual lessons at USC as a graduate teaching assistant.
